Fuel and Chemicals Tank
Officine Mottola constructs tanks for the transport and distribution of fuels, chemicals products and hazardous materials ( ADR TYPE) .
Fuel tanks are in carbon steel and in AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel (even flower-embossed on request).
Tank capacities range from 1,000 to 35,000 litres, as required, and they can have one or several compartments.
Mottola tanks are distinctive due to the longitudinal expansion and single longitudinal welded joint. This makes our tanks much stronger than transversally welded tanks, even in critical situations.
We can mount our fuel tanks on a chassis with 2, 3 or 4 axles, trailers and semi-trailers.
Standard fittings are:
manhole
safety valve
pneumatic or mechanical base valve
fusible plug,
upset closing cycle coupling
spill catcher with drainage pipes
ladder to footboard with folding handrail
gravity-fed discharge pipes with closure valve
hose storage in n. 2 lockable side bodies
rear wheel mudguards and flaps
earth plate by creeping contact
fire-extinguisher and mount
